Āhua Collective returns to you this spring with their celebration of Takatāpui and QTBIPOC artists from Aotearoa. Featuring photography from Sāmoan inter-disciplinary artist, Pati Tyrell, Kōanga Rau showcases the beauty and vitality of our queer creative community. From exploring indigenous deities to forging new paths for our whānau takatāpui, we share these images as an ode to each artists’ whakapapa. Kōanga Rau – meaning a spring collection or gathering, is a chance for us to pause and reflect on the intimate stories shared in this series.
