"Since the loss of my father in 2015, I have felt caught between the desire to stay in New Zealand and the desire to go back to France, to be closer to my mother. My feelings of displacement and uncertainty have been reinforced by Covid-19 and the international travel restrictions.
L’interface is a series of digital collaged photographs that explore my conflicted longings, and construct an intersection of two seascapes: the West coast of Auckland and the coastline of Guidel, my home village in Brittany, France."
