We invite you to join us for Anton Maurer's long anticipated book launch and to celebrate the first ever event hosted by Skar Image Lab, in our new premise in Kingsland.
Anton Maurer’s Endeavour is a series visualising the impacts of capitalism and colonisation on Aotearoa. Made between 2012 & 2017, the works challenge viewers to question their perception of this land and the narratives most commonly associated with it.
A sold out limited run of 15 books of the same title was self published in 2013. This expanded Bad News Books edition of 100 copies, comprises 35 plates, saddle stitched and cased into a printed hard cover. Copies of Endeavour are available for purchase through Bad News Books & Fine Art Prints are available through Skar Image Lab.
