Braiden and Ethan represent the emerging talent of Moana visual orators, and both are part of the first Pasifika cohort of the National Geographic Photo Camp programme that was run at the start of 2023.
Expanding on the lessons and guidance provided by that camp and the support provided by their secondary schools, this exhibition reflects the journey of these young artists as they navigate between their heritage and the generational nuances that come from growing up as part of the Moana diaspora in Aotearoa.
