Auckland Zinefest Open Call
Auckland Zinefest is a volunteer-run organisation most-known for presenting the annual zinefest market at the Auckland Art Gallery to promote zine-making and DIY culture.
Auckland Zinefest is presenting a community photography fair in Auckland in collaboration with Colectivo Narval (Chile) which will feature a photography exhibition to be projected as a video montage.
Applications are now open and photographers of all experience levels and from anywhere in the world are welcome to submit up to five photos that relate to the theme of 'Long Distance' - a phrase to describe the space between two points and the feeling of being far, such as international phone calls before the digital age and relationships separated by geography.
The photography community is invited to take part in the exhibition and submit their photos before 20 February 2024.
