Chris Schmelz will be welcoming all RDC regulars and curious people to take part in his project Caffenol Cafe 1. RDC Espresso.
Caffenol Cafe is an analogue photography project using coffee to develop film within a café environment. From Monday 12 to Friday 16 April, Chris will invite people to have their portrait taken in the cafe where they will see the process revealed as he develops the negatives onsite using ‘Caffenol’, a special formula that includes RDC’s unique coffee blend. Portraits will then be digitally printed and available to take away or remain in the café for the finale exhibition.
