The Bright Awards are a celebration of secondary school students across Aotearoa who are bringing their creative craft to life.
Entries open to Year 12 and Year 13 High School Students from Wednesday 10th August until Friday 7th October

For five years, the Bright Awards have provide an opportunity for creatives to showcase their hard work and support the first step towards carving a place for themselves in the industry. Media Design School wants to continue providing a creative outlet to help young creatives prove to themselves that they have what it takes to make a career out of what they love, and the means to reach those goals.
As a winner of a Bright Award from one of the categories, you will not only be recognised as one of New Zealand’s top young creative-talents-to-watch, you will also earn $1000 for yourself and $3000 for your school, with your school having the chance to earn the 'Bright School of the Year Award'.
We need your help to continue providing a year-round programme of online reviews, interviews, portfolios, videos and listings that is free for everyone to access. We’d also like to dream bigger with the services we offer to photographers and the visual arts.
