When We Were Dust is a group exhibition based on portraiture. Artists working in a range of disciplines explore the mysteries of those around them, the tensions between the surface of an art work and the depth of their subjects. What is it that we as humans share? The title is a playful nod to the knowledge that we are made of star dust. Exhibiting in our New Zealand Steel Gallery from 21 September to 2 November.
